Ever wondered if someone blocked your number? Perhaps you've been trying to get in touch with a friend or business contact, but they haven't returned your calls or messages. Trick 1

Do you sometimes scratch your head when piece of news - on or off the web - sounds a bit fishy? Want a quick place to check the veracity of the latest breaking political news stories?

This great place is like the more familiar Snopes for quick fact checking --- but they are heavier on tracking political fake news. The emphasis here is quickly debunking fake news before it becomes viral. This place sources all fact checks with credible information.

They bill themselves as "The most comprehensive media bias resource on the Internet.". There are currently 2600+ media sources listed in their database and they feature a powerful search function to check the bias of any source. You can search by name or URL.

They provide a plethora of tools and sources dedicated to educating the public on media bias and deceptive news practices.

Good way to cut through the BB (Bias Bull).

Know anyone who thinks they are a tad overweight? Not me. Not you - but there are a few out there. They keep hearing that they should check their BMI (Body Mass Index)

We know how their minds work - if they are thin as a rail they jump right on it - to show the world how fit they are. But if they suspect that they might be carrying a few extra pounds - fagidaboudit - takes too much time.

Here's a great place provided by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) for all of us to get and track our BMI. It takes less that a minute and you don't need to be a genius to use it.

The big victory is when it shows that you are not obese!
