Dewey Struble, CCIM, is the 1998 President of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CIREI) and as such, has the overall responsibility for CIREI's technology and connectivity programs. CIREI confers the CCIM professional designation.Dewey was president of the Northern Nevada CCIM Chapter for three consecutive terms from 1987-1989, and has served CIREI in various capacities, including chairing the Long-Range Planning Committee in 1996. He earned the CCIM designation in 1986. Dewey was a decorated officer in the United States Navy. He served as an aerospace engineer and specialized in applied aerospace applications, including communications satellites, pre-SDI ("Star Wars") planning, and the advanced avionics and structural airborne weapons systems. He was also a nominee to the NASA space shuttle program as a mission specialist. In addition to graduating with distinction from the United States Naval Academy, Struble holds a Masters of Science degree from the California Institute of Technology.
