Jody Lane has been in the real estate industry in Texas for over 20 years. In 1984 he became a commercial broker specializing in income property sales and in his first year had closings in excess of $100 million. He started his own commercial brokerage company and negotiated several transactions with the RTC and other U.S. government agencies.

Jody is also well experienced in residential sales, having served with the firm of Henry S. Miller. During their foray into the residential business Jody and his wife Nora were ranked number two with the Miller organization for three straight years.

Jody formed a company called TitleLink-a proprietary, online communication system that allowed volume lenders access to the title information on their loan portfolios. He sold TitleLink and in 1997 created the now popular real estate news site Realty Times, which creates 8-12 new articles daily and has approximately 25 contributing writers. Realty Times has leveraged its content to where it is now the premier real estate news source for thousands of sites and several portals.
