Ever get a hankering to see what's going on in other cities around the world each day while having your morning coffee. Through a special agreement with more than 800 newspapers worldwide, these nice folks display the front pages from these geographically dispersed papers each day on their website.

This morning's Boston Globe brings us snippets of world news and a lot of ink about the Patriots 59-24 thrashing of the Indianapolis Colts. And the papers in the Middle East continue to cover the conflict over the Gaza Strip.

Although these front pages don't link to the expanded story detail pages, they will give you a sense of the mood of each city and a quick overview of what seems important to the editors.

Interesting - educational - thoughtful - and it's on the house.

Just one caveat about this site - don't get duped into downloading something you don't want or checking something you don't want checked. As helpful as this site is, these promo tabs are rather deceivingly placed. When you are ready to check your internet speed, be sure that you are clicking on "Begin Test".

This speed test is free and easy to use and serves over three (3) million tests every day and helped over a half-billion visitors in the past year
