Ever wonder how powerful our anti-terrorism tools are today? A fellow named Orwell in his 1949 novel "Nineteen Eighty-Four" made many fear the force of intrusive investigation for many years. Today, however many take comfort from the protection these intelligence tools give us.

This picture was taken with a super-camera producing 70,000 x 30,000 pixels (2100 Mega Pixels). With photos from this device you can accurately spot and recognize any face in a crowd of thousands.

You can play intelligence analyst by placing the cursor in the multitude of people. Just left double click a couple times. It will continue to show the people much closer and closer. Finally you will be able to identify the brand of the sun glasses on one person of the thousands in the photo.

These cameras are being installed in strategic locations and used by police and intelligence agencies to assist in our anti-terrorism and crime fighting efforts.

Do you grit your teeth when a perfectly healthy driver pulls into a space reserved for the handicapped - just to shop for a fur coat? This site was created as a community service to end the misuse of handicapped parking spaces and placards.

It allows you to become an anonymous ambassador for the handicapped and report violators when you see this happening. These folks then send these handicapped parking violator reports to every city's Department of Motor Vehicles for appropriate action.

That ought to fix the scoundrels!

Its simplicity rivals Google. Just type your health question into the provided box and click "Follow". When one of the Times journalists or experts respond with an answer to your question you will receive a copy of that response by e-mail.

Categories covered include: Mind, Body, Fitness, Food, Family and even Pets. The system allows you to "follow" existing questions that others have asked and receive copies of answers by e-mail to any of these. That is, of course, in addition to the answers you receive on your own questions.
