We've all been there. Sitting on hold waiting to talk to a human being at the company that won't stop telling you "how important your call is" to them - and then waiting for another half hour or more - hearing this recording plus music we can't stand, while we wait - and wait - and wait.

This neat trick takes most of the aggravation out of this process.

First these good folks connect you to the company. If you get put on hold, simply press * * and they will wait in your spot for you. As soon as the representatives from the company finish their lunch break and ping pong game and answer, the system rings you - you pick up - and you are connected.

In the meantime, you had the freedom and the tine to write Chapter 3 of your great American novel.

Great service - and it's on the house.

When you open any of the programs in this office suite you'll mumble "Wow" - it,s just like the Microsoft Office Suite - and it pretty much is.

Take a deep breath the next time you're tempted to shell out big bucks to buy or monthly payments to rent Microsoft Office with its suite of tools including Word, Excel PowerPoint, Publisher and Access. Maybe you are transitioning to Windows 10 - or just want to upgrade to an office suite released less than 10 years ago - this monster freebie may be the ticket.

This is a powerful office suite - its clean interface and feature-rich tools, including several applications, make it the most powerful free and Open Source office suite available. Writer (word processing like Word), Calc (spreadsheets like Excel), Impress (presentations like Power Point), Draw (vector graphics and flowcharts), Base (databases), and Math (formula editing) are all included.

It's an easy download and easily runs all the files you've created with the big bucks software -- and of course the freebie price is right.

Can you imagine that some rather shady companies post fake reviews on the web in order to offset negative (but legitimate) reviews -- or to mislead customers into purchasing their products? In fact, some companies will even write false negative reviews about their competitors in order to increase their market share. Tsk Tsk. Hard to believe? Not really.

In order to bring you the "straight scoop", these folks provide a platform for all legitimate postings from consumers whether they've had a negative, neutral, or positive experience. And their specially trained staff monitors all reviews in order to ensure that everything published on their site is legitimate. If they identify any red flags, or even have the slightest doubt about the legitimacy of a review, they simply won't post it. And if they later learn that it is fake, they remove it from the website.

Good place for truth seekers.
