What did it feel like the last time you tried to get 12 people together for a meeting or party - on a date that worked for everyone? Probably like herding a lap full of cats! This gem was founded on the idea that making plans with friends, family and business associates should be simple, easy and convenient - not like pulling teeth!

Now you can pull everyone together without doing all of the bouncing back and forth work. This easy to use program allows the proposed participants to work it out themselves -- within your parameters.

This planner is easy-peasy for the host -- just:
1. Give your event a name and add additional details.
2. Add the email addresses for those you would like to invite.
3. Select the dates that you are available.
4. Send your invitation out.

All the invitees need do is check off the dates on which they are available. This planner does its stuff and comes up with the date that is most convenient for the majority of the invitees.

It's magic!

I'm sure that, if you ask 10 people how to find out if your computer system is 32 or 64 bit, you'll get six different responses: Yes. No. Three "I don't knows" and one "Who cares".

The terms 32-bit and 64-bit refer to the way a computer's processor (CPU), handles information. The 64-bit version of Windows handles large amounts of random access memory (RAM) more effectively than a 32-bit system making the system faster.

If you're running Windows 7 you can get the answer by simply pressing the Windows and Pause keyboard keys at the same time -- Shazam. There before your eyes is all of the basic information about your system - including the answer to this stumper.

Trick 1

Which of these reports are true?
1. "Facebook soon plans to institute a monthly charge for users."
2. "The new iPhone 6 is contaminated with the deadly Ebola virus."
3. "Apple's new "Wave" technology allows you to quickly recharge your iPhone by microwaving it."

None of these statements are true - but they are among the top 25 urban legends currently circulating most widely, as determined by frequency of access, user searches, reader e-mail, and media coverage.

How do you verify the validity or falsity of these stories (Urban Legends) circulating on the internet and in the press? You know, the warnings your friends send you in and e-mail that has been sent and resent by 15 people, telling you that you may die by using the pump handle at a gas station.

This resource tracks these urban legends and is the world's authority on this type of nonsense. 20/20, ABC World News, CNN Sunday Morning, The New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and the Reader's Digest have provided extensive coverage regarding this valuable resource.

This great place aims to make all world knowledge searchable with mathematical formulas and probably wants to eventually knock off Google.

The site is so vast that it covers the simplest math (2+2=4). It also covers stuff Einstein would have trouble figuring out (but you can here). It covers units of measurement you've never heard of (one Smoot equals 67 inches - which does not include one ear).

Quickly get information with conversational questions: "What US University has the seventh largest student population? (Answer: University of Central Florida with 53,472 enrolled).

Gotta try out this great place to get even a smidgen of an idea what enormous data this behemoth reveals. And believe it or not - this mathematically based site is fun!
